Argentinosaurus was one of the biggest and heaviest dinosaurs of the Mesozoic, even among the sauropods. It was around 30 to 35 m in length, and probably just under 70 tons, thought estimates vary; some suggest it reached 100 tons. A fully grown Argentinosaurus didn't have to worry even about the mega-predators of the Cretaceous South America, but the young and the juveniles were more vulnerable.

In Extreme Dinosaurs Argentinosaurus was one of the central characters, featuring as one of the first sauropods discovered in South America. A Diplodocus model from Walking with Dinosaurs was used to depict it, though the coloration had changed. (102-89 MYA).
